How Much Does It Cost?

how much

We work on a donations basis. Please be as generous as possible. Some guests are able to pay a bit more which helps us cover our costs.

Our suggested donations are as follows:

Costs for Individual Stays

Costings per person per night (including meals)
Single Room  Ensuite £90
Twin Room (one person) Ensuite £90
Twin Room (two people) Ensuite     £85
Double Room (two people) Ensuite £85
Carer's Suite (one person) Ensuite £95
Carer's Suite (two people) Ensuite £85

Rooms which are not ensuite are £5 less per room per night.

We hope that most people can donate enough to cover our costs, perhaps even more. If this is difficult for you there may be local grants which you can apply for. If you are a member of a religious organisation you may be able to ask them for support. Voluntary Sector organisations may be able to help you to access funds which are there to assist people who are needing respite or recovery, who are learning or even having a holiday. If you are successful, please do let us know about the fund so we can help others to apply too.

Cost of Therapeutic Support

If you have a one-to-one session of counselling, psychotherapy, spiritual accompaniment or pastoral care during your stay then we ask for a donation for each session between £30 and £60 depending on income.

Costs of Weekend Retreats

The costings for a weekend retreat range from £250 to £400 per weekend. Once the publicity for an event has been produced the cost will be advertised on the publicity and on the website. We ask for donations and, wherever possible, invite guests to Gift Aid It.

We are always looking out for grant funding which can sometimes be applied for by individual guests.

There may be local trusts which you can apply to for support with your stay.
